Character profile
PROFILERen-Chen (壬辰) is the 29th of the 60 pairs in the Chinese sexagenary cycle. Ren is Water and Chen is the Dragon. At Summon.MasterMe, people born on a Ren-Chen day have the Open-Sea Sovereign as their character, from the Water family: not a ripple on the surface, a whole ocean inside.
You may look calm on the surface, but there is a whole ocean within you. You think for yourself and rarely follow just to fit in, because you are used to relying on your own judgment. Your strength shows in knowing when to press ahead and when to ease off.

Questions
Q & AWhat is a Ren-Chen (壬辰) personality like?
At Summon.MasterMe, people born on a Ren-Chen day have the Open-Sea Sovereign as their character: not a ripple on the surface, a whole ocean inside. Sharp, full of their own ideas and slow to defer to anyone, because they have long been used to relying on themselves. Knowing when to ease off is a dragon's true strength.
What element and animal is Ren-Chen?
Ren (壬) is yang Water among the ten heavenly stems, and Chen (辰) is the Dragon among the twelve earthly branches. So Ren-Chen belongs to the Water family, and its animal is the Dragon.
Is a Ren-Chen birthday the same as being born in a Year of the Dragon?
No. The Year of the Dragon is about your birth year, so everyone born that year shares it. Ren-Chen is the ganzhi of your birth day, which comes around once every 60 days, so most people born in a Dragon year are not Ren-Chen.
Is Ren-Chen my BaZi Day Pillar?
If you were born on a Ren-Chen day, yes: Ren-Chen is your Day Pillar, and Ren (yang Water) is your Day Master. We change the day at 23:00, so for people born late at night the result can differ by a day from some calculators.
How do I check whether I was born on a Ren-Chen day?
Enter your date of birth under "Are you one too?" on this page. It's calculated in your browser. If you were born between 23:00 and midnight, tick the box: you count as the next day's type.
Is this fortune telling?
No. It does not predict events or label anything lucky or unlucky. It describes personality tendencies and how you might use them. This is a framework for understanding yourself; it helps you see yourself more clearly and does not decide anything for you.
